Côte d’Ivoire welcomes LFP, analog sports photography project

Launched last year, the association between the LFP and Analog Sport aims to train young people from disadvantaged situations in the art of sports photography in France and around the world.

In 2021, the first stage of this project resulted in a unique achievement in Brazil, with young people from the Onda Solidaria association in Rio de Janeiro photographing the new Ligue 1 Uber Eats jerseys for the 2021-22 season. Trained by Analog Sport, these budding photographers used their eye and aesthetic approach to highlight the 2021-22 collections of Ligue 1 clubs Uber Eats.

This first success paved the way for a new project in Côte d’Ivoire in 2022. In association with Analog Sport, the objective this time was to organize photography training workshops for young Ivorians living in two orphanages in the Abidjan region. the Bingerville orphanage and the La Maison du Potier orphanage in Yopougon. In the latter, thanks to the association Hope Denguélé, a fresco featuring former Ivorian heroes and current players of Paris Saint Germain and Olympic Marseille was created by the artist Albéric Kouassi. In total, more than 50 young orphans participated in this activity over several days of training combining theoretical initiations and practical learning.

In addition to the material donations to the two associations, an exhibition of the photographs will be put on sale during the Ligue 1 Touch event organized around the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille in Abidjan on April 17. Proceeds from this auction will go entirely to the Bingerville and Hope Denguélé orphanages.
