In a final photo of the couple, who never had the chance to grow old together, Rebecca is seen smiling blissfully at Jack as he kisses her in their kitchen.

The photo of the embrace looks like the one that shows designer Dan Fogelman tweeted in early September, the first day of filming for season six. “Last first day. Feeling feelings,” he captioned the photo.

As for what will happen in the final season of the time jump show – well, we know to expect a lot of tears, as always. Fogelman tweeted on November 12 that filming the final chapter of The Pearsons had moved him.

“I’m very excited. I’m also incredibly sad. We’re pretty involved and season six is upsetting me,” he said. wrote.

The final season of “This Is Us” will air at 9 p.m. ET / PT on Tuesday, January 4 on NBC.
